I found Urals some time ago, but it took until September 2020 until I purchased one - two actually. My wife has always wanted to take our dog(s) for motorcycle rides and suggested a sidecar. I have always wanted one and this was an opportunity that I found by accident.
The bikes were "principal movie cars" from the television series "American Gods", a quirky tale of the fight between old and new, young and old - you probably already know the story... In any case, I won't spoil your chance to binge watch the series by giving away the plot. They are a dissimilar pair of 2003 Ural Tourist (that's my guess), one of which was originally registered in Quebec. One was black with pin striping and the other was red. Suffice it to say the Jinn rode these bikes in the show. When you see them, you should tip your hat (or not).
I purchased them from the production company when they cancelled the third season due to Covid-19. Their loss, as they say, was my gain. Both were "rode hard and put away wet". There is no pretending to claim they are brand new - far from it. Both need some TLC and that is my next project (after I build a new bench/lift in my garage that will accommodate a side car....
Finding practical information on Urals can be a challenge. This is a space on my personal website that I have set aside some space. I don't own any of the copyrights (except for my own comments and observations). In fact, the picture to the left is of a 2019 Ural and was lifted from somewhere...

Both of my Urals are headed to the shop for winter wrenching.
